Murali Vijay is currently busy playing the Tamilnadu Premier League for his team, Ruby Tricky Warriors. His comeback to this tournament has been impressive so far as he registered his second career century in the T20 league. He also created a record for hitting 12 sixes in an innings.
During that innings, Vijay scored 121 runs off 66 balls against Nellai Royal Kings. However, an awkward moment happened in one of the TNPL matches when fans put this veteran Indian batter in an uncomfortable position. Fans started to shout Dinesh Karthik’s name in front of him while he was fielding at the boundary ropes. The video got viral and thus, it got surfaced quickly over the internet.

Speaking of that video, it was seen that Vijay was fielding at the boundary rope. Suddenly, the crowd, behind him, started to chant ‘DK, DK’. It made the batter awkward. But, he just smiled back and showed folding hands to them in a gentle manner. Meanwhile, Dinesh Karthik will be seen playing the upcoming five-match T20I series against West Indies.

Speaking of Murali Vijay’s comeback, he managed to score 224 runs in just four matches at an average of 56 with a strike rate of 172.30. However, his contributions have failed to do any good to his team as his team is in seventh place.

He said: “I want to play as long as possible. Just took a personal break. I have a young family and wanted to take care of them.
