Ishan is playing in the ongoing Ranji Trophy for his state team, Jharkhand. The team won their recent game against Services. Batting first, Services amassed 367 all-out. In reply, the home team amassed 551/8 and declared the innings. In the second innings, Services could only score 214, setting a meager target of 31 runs for the home team. They won by nine wickets with Kishan opening the batting in the second innings.
In both innings, he scored 13 runs each. Meanwhile, talking about Pant, he is likely to be away from the game for a while. As per AIIMS, he is set to miss the game for three to six months as his ligament tear would take this much time to recover. Also, the other injuries are also serious, and will be interesting to see how much time he takes to recover.
