Watch: Jaydev Unadkat picks his maiden Test wicket with rip-snorter against Bangladesh
Left-arm medium pacer, Jaydev Unadkat is playing only his second Test after making his debut in 2010 against South Africa. In his debut, the former India U19 player traveled a journey and could pick a wicket. After that game, he was dropped from the next game and was never considered for India in Tests. Since then, he played seven ODI and 10 T20Is till early 2018.
Over the years, he has been doing well in red-ball cricket. In First-Class cricket, the left-armer has more than 300 wickets to his name. After waiting for 12 years, Unadkat is making his comeback in the team. He has replaced Kuldeep Yadav who took eight wickets in the previous game and scored 40 runs. Meanwhile, in the ongoing second Test against Bangladesh, the Saurashtra player produced a rip-snorter to pick his maiden Test wicket.
In the 15th over of the Bangladesh innings, the 31-year-old took out Zakir Hasan as the former extracted extra bounce from the surface.
