It is safe to say that James Neesham is a complete package. Not only is he a superb all-rounder, but he’s also an absolute entertainer on and off the field. Besides, he is quite active on social media as well.

However, it seems like Neesham is already working on his retirement plans. The all-rounder was recently seen taking the field as an on-field umpire in a T20 Black Clash Match. This game was taking place between Team Cricket vs Team Rugby.

It is to be noted that this is the second consecutive year where the New Zealander took part in this league as an umpire. He had made his debut as an Umpire in 2021, with the same match. As far as the game is concerned, it was a thrilling game which saw superstars on both the sides

While the Kiwi legend Stephen Fleming was leading Team Cricket, Kieran Read was captaining Team Rugby. After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Team cricket got 55 runs in the first six overs. However, two quick wickets from Anton Devcich got Team Rugby right back in the game.

Nevertheless, the Fleming-led side went on to post 203/5 in their 20 overs. After the Team Rugby openers put up a stand of 100 for the first wicket, Grant Elliot managed to dismiss Will Jordan. However, the skipper Read continued his aggressive style of play. In the end, they ended up chasing the total and winning the match with five balls to spare.
