Former England skipper Michael Vaughan has trolled Wasim Jaffer for getting out on a silver duck. Jaffer is playing for India Maharajas in the inaugural Legends League Cricket. He got out on a sliver duck against World Giants in the third game of the tournament on January 22.

The right-hander was caught behind by Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin off the bowling of former England pacer Ryan Sidebottom. This gave Vaughan, an opportunity to have a banter with the Jaffer. The 2005 Ashes winning-skipper posted a video of him sipping a juice and showed a screenshot highlighting Jaffer’s duck on his Twitter account.

In the video, the former England skipper said “Somethings don’t change Wasim.” The caption of the video says “Hope you are ok @WasimJaffer14,”.

Both former cricketers often indulge in funnt banters on social media. This time was no different as Vaughan latched on the opportunity. It will be interesting to see how Jaffer responds, given the kind of sense of humour he displays on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Batting first, the Mohammad Kaif-led side amassed 209/3, thanks to Naman Ojha (140) and Kaif (53*). Ojha became the first centurion of the tournament. Both players stitched a partnership of 187 runs for the third wickets after losing Wasim Jaffer and S.Badrinath on duck.

In reply, the Giants were tottering at 130/6 in 13.4 overs, needing 80 runs to win in 6.2 overs. Imran Tahir came to the crease and hit an unbeaten 52 off 19 deliveries with three boundaries and five hits outside the ropes to win the game.
