Now, that news got viral and it got circulated via all news channels. But, a news anchor mistakenly took Rahul Gandhi’s name as India’s opener. That video went viral and fans found it very funny.

“We have not taken the third opener, Virat Kohli can obviously open” – Rohit Sharma said about Virat’s possibility as an opener ahead of the 20-20 World Cup

Speaking about that video, the news anchor was sharing the press conference of Rohit Sharma. But, while conveying that news, he mistakenly said that Rahul Gandhi will be India’s Second Opener For the 20-20 World Cup.

Speaking about that conference, Rohit said that Virat can open and he can be an option for the third opener. He said: “It is always nice to have options available for you, especially if you are going into a tournament such as 20-20 World Cup, you want that flexibility. It’s an option for us, and since we have not taken the third opener, he can obviously open. He opens for his franchise, and he has done really well. It’s a definite option for us.”

“I had a word with Rahul Dravid and we have decided that we might have to open with Virat in a few matches. We have seen that in the last match and we are happy.
