Watch: Pedestrian runs away with the ball that went out of stadium in ILT20
The International League T20 has given the fans some thrilling cricketing action to enjoy in the tournament so far. The competition is getting intense as it’s heading into the last two weeks of the inaugural season. The Match no 21 between Desert Vipers and MI Emirates gave the fans worth of their every penny as they got to see a high-scoring affair.
Among the many big hits which were witnessed during the game, one particular shot from Dan Mousely caught the attention of fans as it went out of the stadium. The incident took place on the third ball of the 18th over of the first innings bowled by Matheesha Pathirana. Mousely sent the ball over deep backward square leg which landed outside the stadium. The ball was collected by a fan, who was roaming outside the Sharjah Cricket Stadium and kept it with him as a souvenir.
Later in the innings in the 19th over, Kieron Pollard hit a 104-meter six which went into the streets again. However, this time some other fan was seen throwing the ball back into the ground.

Coming back to the match, Desert Vipers captain Colin Munro won the toss and elected to bowl first. MI Emirates openers Andre Fletcher and Muhammad Waseem walked out all guns blazing as they ripped apart the Vipers’ bowling attack. The duo added 141 runs in just 75 balls for the first wicket to give a blazing start to their side. Fletcher scored 50 off 39 while Waseem scored 86 off 44 balls.
MI Emirates won the match by a mammoth 157 runs
After their partnership ended, MI lost three wickets quickly to be 152/3 after 14.4 overs. From there onwards captain Kieron Pollard and Dan Mousley added 89 runs off just 32 balls for the fourth wicket to take their team to 241/3 at the end of 20 overs. Pollard remained unbeaten on 50 off 19 balls while Mousley was not out on 31 off 17.
In reply, Desert Vipers got under pressure due to the huge score on the board and were bundled out for just 84 in 12.1 overs. Fazalhaq Farooqi was the pick of the bowlers for MI who picked up 3/13 after three overs. Zahoor Khan and Imran Tahir also picked up two wickets each. MI Capitals won the match by a massive margin of 157 runs. Muhammed Waseem was awarded ‘Player of the Match’ for his fiery knock.
