Watch: Punjab players ace Bollywood dialogues, video goes viral
The Indian T20 League 2022 is a high demanding tournament. The players are always required to stay focused and switched on. But the players still find a way to relax and enjoy some light moments off the field.
The overseas players of the Punjab team were seen enjoying such a moment. The video was part of a YouTube program called ‘Do is like Shashi’. The video begins with English Benny Howell emulating Sharukh Khan’s famous dialogue from the blockbuster film Dilwale Dulhania le Jayenge (1995), “Bade Bade desho main aise chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hain, Senorita.”
Next, the Australian player was heard saying the dialogue- “Picture abhi baki hain mere dost,”- from SRK starrer Om Shanti Om (2007). Notably, Ellis confused the Bollywood star with his teammate of SRK’s namesake.
South African speedster Kagiso Rabada also participated in the fun activity. Though his Bollywood knowledge was not up to the mark as he had no clue about Bollywood star Salman Khan, he was not left behind in delivering dialogues. He mimicked Salman’s famous dialogue from the Wanted (2009) movie- “Ek bar jo maine commitment kar di phir main apne aap ki bhi nahi sunta.”
Odean Smith was also there delivering dialogues in Bollywood style. To the pleasant surprise of the viewers, Smith imitated actor Sunny Deol very nicely while delivering the dialogue – “Tareekh pe tareekh, tareeekh pe tareekh, tareekkh pe tareeeekh,”- from the movie Damini (1993).
The video ended with Benny Howell saying – “Mogambo khush huya,”- from the movie Mr. India (1987).
