Over the years, India head coach Rahul Dravid has been known to be stoic as an individual. Whether his side wins or loses, his expression remains pretty much the same. However, right after the second ODI between India and New Zealand, Dravid was seen making ‘Ninja moves’ when the players from both teams were shaking hands. The video is going viral on the internet.

Meanwhile, talking about the game, the Men In Blue annihilated the Kiwis in the ODI played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur. After winning the toss, the home team decided to bowl first after skipper Rohit Sharma took time to make his decision. However, the team didn’t have any doubts about what they needed to do.

Bowlers took five wickets in the powerplay and conceded only 15 runs. Even though two small partnerships came after the initial jolts, the visitors were bowled out for 108 runs. Mohammed Shami took three wickets. Apart from him, Washington Sundar and Hardik Pandya took two wickets each. Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, and Kuldeep Yadav took one each.

In reply, India chased down the target in 20.1 overs and won the game by eight wickets. Skipper Rohit Sharma scored a half-century. After the game, he said that the bowlers have stepped up in the last five games (referring to three ODIs against Sri Lanka and two against New Zealand)

“The last five games, the bowlers have really stepped up. Whatever we have asked of them, they have stepped up and delivered. You don’t usually see this type of seam movement in India, you generally see it outside India. These guys have some serious skills, they work really hard and it’s great to see them being rewarded,” Sharma said.
