Watch: Rashid Khan and Marcus Stoinis’ funny conversation caught on stump mic during BBL 2022-23
Rashid Khan is one of the funniest characters on the field. He loves having fun with teammates and the opposition players on the field. Meanwhile, in the game between Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Stars in the ongoing Big Bash League 2022-23, Khan had some with Marcus Stoinis. The former is playing for the Strikers while Stoinis has turned up for the Stars.
In the game, the four-time finalists batted first after winning the toss. In the 13th over, Stoinis was batting alongside wicketkeeper batter Joe Clarke. The over was bowled by the leggie, Rashid. On the fifth ball of the over, the newly-appointed Afghanistan T20I skipper bowled a google. In reply, Stoinis came down the track but the ball was pitched halfway down the track.
This was the reason the right-hander could only take one run. On the other hand, the right-arm bowler had his hand on his hand as he was expecting a wicket. After the single, he was heard asking Stoinis to leave the ball. The video is going viral on the internet.

Talking about the game, the Green Brigade (Stars) amassed 186/7. Stoinis played a great hand as he scored 74 runs off just 35 balls including five four and six sixes. For the Blue Brigade, Wes Agar took three wickets for just 27 runs in four overs. In reply, the 2017-18 winners failed to chase down the target as they lost by eight runs.
The former winners had a poor start as they lost the wicket of Matthew Short in the first over to Trent Boult. However, they recover well with Adam Hose (56*) and Rashid Khan (41*) taking the game close. With this win, the Stars have registered their second-only win in the tournament. They were coming three straight losses.
