WATCH- Ravindra Jadeja’s father gets emotional, says he doesn’t have a good relationship with his son

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s father, Anirudhsinh Jadeja expresses that he doesn’t have a good relationship with his son, and he is very much upset about that.

Rivaba Jadeja, formerly known as Rivaba Solanki, is a mechanical engineer from Rajkot. She is an MP (member of parliament) of the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party). Rivaba and Ravindra tied their knot back on April 17th 2016 in a private ceremony. Jadeja’s father said that his relationship with Jadeja started taking a U-turn after they got married.

“I don’t know what magic his wife has done on him,” Jadeja’s father said to Dainik Bhaskar in an interview on Friday.

“Do you want me to tell you one truth? I have absolutely no relation with Ravindra and his wife, Rivaba. We don’t call them, and they don’t call us. The issues started after two or three months of their marriage. I currently live alone in Jamnagar, while Ravindra resides in a separate bungalow of his own. He lives in the same city, but I don’t get to see him. He is my son, and it burns my heart. I wish I hadn’t gotten him married. It would have been better if he hadn’t become a cricketer. We would not have to go through all this in that case,” Anirudhsinh Jadeja said.

Meanwhile, Jadeja scored a brilliant innings of 87 and picked up five wickets in the first Test match. He did not play in the second Test in Visakhapatnam due to a hamstring injury. The next Test match will start on 15th February at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. Team India missed his bowling and middle-order batting in the second Test. He is looking to get fit before the third Test.

Indian Cricket Board will announce the squad for the third and fourth Test soon.
