WATCH: Sachin Tendulkar meets his fan wearing his name’s jersey while riding a two-wheeler
Former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar met his fan while driving his car. The latter was wearing Mumbai Indians, the team Tendulkar played from 2008 to 2013 before retiring from the league. The right-hander was also part of the team that won the title for the first time in 2013. Meanwhile, in a video uploaded on Twitter by the 2011 World Cup winner met his fan while the latter was riding his two-wheeler.

Meanwhile, talking about the former India skipper, he retired from the game in 2013. In that year, he first retired from IPL cricket, followed by his final retirement at home in the Test series against the West Indies. In late December 2012, ahead of the short white-ball series against Pakistan, the Mumbaikar announced his retirement from ODI cricket, having played only one T20I, in 2006. Meanwhile, in recent times, he played an exhibition game which was celebrated by the fans.
Since his retirement, the 200-Test veteran has been the mentor of the Mumbai Indians team. The former champions haven’t had the best of times in the last three seasons. After winning their last title in 2020, the team only qualified for the playoffs, once in 2023. in 2021 and 2022, the team finished outside of playoffs.
