WATCH: Shah Rukh Khan’s heartwarming gesture towards disabled KKR fan post RCB game in IPL 2023
Kolkata Knight Riders are back to their winning ways in IPL 2023 with a huge win against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 81 runs at the Eden Gardens. After the match, the owner of KKR and the famous Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan won people’s hearts with a heartwarming gesture towards his special fan.
In a video posted by KKR on their social media, SRK was seen meeting and hugging his and KKR’s die-hard fan Harshul Goenka. Harshul has been suffering from a disease called Cerebral Palsy. It is a disease called a group of disorders that affect a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture which mostly starts in childhood.
Despite suffering from a painful disease, Harshul never leave a chance to support his favorite IPL team in every season and SRK always showers love to his biggest fan whenever he meets him. The Bollywood actor also met Harshul in 2018 as shown in the video.

Shardul Thakur took the match away from RCB with his batting
Talking about the match, batting first KKR posted a total of 204 for the loss of 7 wickets, powered by the fiery half-century by Shardul Thakur. The home team lost 5 wickets for 89 runs in the 12th over after Rahmnaullah Gurbaz got out after a well-made 57 off 44. After that, Shardul took the charge of KKR batting and put up a partnership of 103 runs with Rinku Singh for the sixth wicket. Rinku got out after scoring 46 off 33, while Shardul went on to score 68 runs off just 29 balls smashing nine fours and three sixes.
Chasing the winning total, skipper Faf du Plessis (23 off 12) and Virat Kohli (21 off 18) gave e decent start to RCB by adding 44 runs in 4.5 overs before the fall of the first wicket. After that Varun Chakrvarthy struck by taking a series of wickets in a couple of overs dismissing Kohli, Du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell in the same manner. RCB couldn’t make a comeback in the match after that and got bowled on 123 runs in 17.4 overs. Chakravarthy scalped 4 wickets by conceding 15 runs in 3.4 overs.
