After the wicket of Shah, the team kept losing the rest of the five wickets in just 43 runs and were bowled out for 198 runs. V Fernando took four wickets while A Fernando and Jayasuriya took three wickets each. In reply, the island-nation-based team played 14 overs and amassed 80 runs, playing the Bazball as they scored more than five runs per over.
