The 12h season of the Big Bash League is up and running with a lot of action during the season. A lot has happened on the field and inside the spectators. While the players are giving their best, some of the spectators have also entertained others with their antics. In the ongoing tournament, some fans have tried to take a crowd catch but ended up almost getting hurt as well.

Meanwhile, in the recently-concluded game between former winners, Sydney Sixers, and Melbourne Renegades, a fielder committed a school-boy error on the field. Apparently, in the 18th over of the Renegades’ innings, a Sixers’ fielder let the ball slip ‘under his noses’ and let it roll toward the boundary. The over was bowled by Ben Dwarshius. He bowled a back-of-a-length delivery to Peter Handscomb.

The latter dabbed the ball towards the third-man region. Everyone watching the game and the batter thought that will be a single. However, the third man fielder could get hold of the ball and it slipped towards the boundary. With this, he conceded three extra runs.

Talking about the game, the West Melbourne-based team batted first after winning the toss at their home ground. However, their decision was proved wrong by the three-time winner, Eastern Sydney. They restricted Melbourne to a paltry total of 124/7. For the Sixers, the likes of Hayden Kerr and Chris Jordan took two wickets each. On the other hand, Dwarshius, Jackson Bird, and Izharulhaq Naveen took one each.

For the Red Brigade (Renegades), no batter could score a fifty. In reply, the Magenta brigade chased down the total with ease. They scored 126/4 in just 17.4 overs. Daniel Christian hit four fours against Kane Richardson. Notably, this is the Renegades’ second loss to Sixers in two days. A couple of days back, the Sixers beat the Renegades by 34 runs.
