Watch: The Reunion Of Brothers As MS Dhoni And Suresh Raina Were Spotted Together In A Car
On 14 July 2022, India was scheduled to play the second ODI match of the three-match series against England at Lord’s. Virat Kohli made a comeback into the playing XI after missing the first match due to his groin injury. But, the match did not go as per plan for India as they lost to England by 100 runs.
But, a surprising incident occurred when MS Dhoni and his former Indian teammate, Suresh Raina were seen together in the stands, enjoying the match. They even came in the same car as the video that went viral over Twitter.

India failed to win the second ODI match due to poor batting performance
Speaking about the video, it was a great scenario for the fans of the Chennai franchise of the Indian Premier League. Before this year’s competition, Suresh Raina went unsolved as Chennai did not bid for him at all. However, it was quite shocking for everyone after what Raina has done for this franchise over the years.
Hence, the reunion of these two Indian legends provided some smiles back to Chennai fans by seeing these brothers together. For the relationship between them, they are known as brothers over the years. Speaking about the match, England was asked to bat first as Rohit Sharma won the toss. Indian bowlers, especially Yuzvendra Chahal did well as the host got restricted to 246 runs in 49 overs.
In reply, Indian batters failed to score freely as they got bundled out for 146 runs only. This 100-run defeat prevented India from sealing this series with one match to go on Sunday (17 July 2022). All top-order batters like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and Shikhar Dhawan failed miserably to score runs while chasing this tricky target of 247 runs. Now, both the teams will get involved in a series decider on Sunday at Manchester. India will look to win this historic series as it can break England’s streak of winning bilateral ODI series at home since 2014.
