Watch: Virat Kohli is showered with birthday wishes from fans ahead of India-Zimbabwe game
Former India skipper Virat Kohli will turn 34 years old on November 5. Ahead of the big day, India Cricket Team left Adelaide and headed to Melbourne for their last Super 12 game of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. They will play against Zimbabwe on November 6. This will be a must-win game for the 2007 winners as they would want to qualify for the semis. Also, it happens to be the last game of the Super 12 round.
Meanwhile, ahead of Kohli’s birthday, the fans aren’t able to keep calm. In a video uploaded by the Indian Cricket Board, the players were moving into their hotel in Adelaide. While the players were moving. a bunch of fans were spotted holding a placard that reads ‘Happy Birthday King Kohli’. Kohli also waived at the crowd. The video is going viral on the internet.

Talking about the former India skipper, he is enjoying a great time with the bat. In the games against Pakistan, Netherlands, and Bangladesh, he scored half-centuries and remained unbeaten. He only got out in the game against South Africa. The right-hander is the highest run-getter in the tournament with 220 runs in four games at an average of 220. Also, his strike rate has been 144.73.
Talking about the former champions, they have only lost to the Proteas and are set to play the semis. However, the team won’t take their Southern African opponents (Zimbabwe) lightly. Everyone has seen what they are capable of especially after bringing Pakistan on a brink of elimination. Notably, Pakistan would now want to win their game against Bangladesh which will be played right before the India-Zimbabwe game. The 2009 winners would also want Zimbabwe to win their last game.
