West Indies vs India series to not be telecasted on Television?

India will be touring West Indies in the month of July this year. The two teams will be playing in Three ODIs followed by five ODIs. The sports streaming platform will be exclusively broadcasting the tour.
Notably, this will be a second such series that will be taking place between the two teams in a space of six months. The last time the two teams met was in February this year when West Indies visited India to play three ODIs and the same number of ODIs. Talking of the upcoming series it will be hosted across Trinidad and Tobago and St. Kitts and Nevis, while the final two T20Is are scheduled to take place at Lauderhill, Florida in the USA. The series will be panning out between July 22 and August 7.
Talking of the broadcasters for the series, India’s premier digital sports destination for fans, FanCode is the official broadcaster for Cricket West Indies (CWI) until 2024. It will be the only platform broadcasting India’s tour of the West Indies live for the Indian viewers. The series will be played at India’s prime time, the ODIs will be starting from 7 PM and the T20Is are scheduled to begin from 8 PM IST. The viewers will be able to watch the live-action on the FanCode app and on www.fancode.com.
Talking about the teams in the series, both the teams will be using the series as a preparation ground for the upcoming T2 World Cup in Australia. While the retirement of experienced and veteran campaigners like Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, and Kieron Pollard West Indies will be looking to rebuild their team, India will be looking to find a perfect team combination for the big stage. The T20 World Cup 2022 will be the road to redemption for team India after they were eliminated in the first round of the last edition of the tournament in 2021. With two exciting teams taking the field the fans will be anticipating high-class cricketing action from the encounters.
