Cricket World Cup 2023 is just 35 days away as ten teams including hosts India vie for the biggest prize in ODI Cricket. India will be hosting the tournament after twelve long years. The last time World Cup was played in the subcontinent was in 2011 when India co-hosted the event with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The Indian team led by MS Dhoni went on to win the tournament ending a wait for 28 years. With the World Cup getting nearer, the mad scramble for tickets has begun. There is good news for the ardent cricket fans as the entire details are now out.

Each of the venues that are hosting the World Cup games will soon have tickets going live in the coming days. The first three venues where tickets go live are Mumbai, Lucknow, and Himachal Pradesh.

Ticket sales to go live as mad scramble expected

The three centers of Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.  As well as Dharamsala Ground in Himachal Pradesh and Ekana Ground in Lucknow will see tickets go on sale first. Starting 1st September, 2023 the fans can book the tickets which go live at 8 PM IST.

The official website for purchasing the tickets for the 2023 World Cup will be, https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com. Mumbai is scheduled to host the India versus Sri Lanka encounter on 2nd November.

Lucknow is set to host India against holders England in the game on 29th October. Dharamsala will be hosting the key encounter between India and New Zealand which is to take place on 22nd October.

The rest of the centers that host the Indian matches too will have tickets going live soon. Bangalore and Kolkata’s tickets will be given on Saturday 2nd September at 8 PM IST. The matches to be played at Ahmedabad will go live on Sunday 3rd September at the same 8 PM IST slot.

Ahmedabad is set to witness a flurry of activity in the coming few months. The World Cup opening ceremony is set to be hosted on the 4th October. The following day England and New Zealand kick of the World Cup 2023 action at Ahmedabad.

India and Pakistan will then face each other on 14th October in a high-intensity clash. The World Cup final will be hosted by Narendra Modi Stadium on 19th November. The tickets for the semi-finals and finals will be going live on the 15th of September.
