WWE: 5 early predictions for 2024
3. Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship
Seth Rollins got the World Heavyweight Championship after the new announcement from Triple H earlier this year. To make the titles more relevant, other than the ones already being held under the reign of the Tribal Chief, the Hunter decided to reintroduce the World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins has not lost his belt since then despite facing many challenging opponents. The highlight of his title reign was his last man-standing match against Shinsuke Nakamura at the Fastlane 2023. Rollins became the crowd favourite after defending his title.
Rollins has also faced some strong opponents like McIntyre, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and others in his title defence. Rollins has overcome all of them to defend his title. WWE has given a good buildup to their champion with proper storylines. But none of them would be as interesting as the upcoming feud between him and CM Punk. The promos and the matches are expected to give peak PPVs and attract the audience to watch the event. By the end of WrestleMania 2024, Punk might be the eventual champion to the delight of the fans.
