T20 Franchise leagues are getting bigger day by day as all cricket boards are focusing on conducting their own leagues with all global stars. However, the Indian Cricket Board is the only Board that does not allow its players in other foreign leagues. They are only eligible to play in the Indian T20 League.

In 2022, as per reports, Board is going to take a decision for giving permission to players, especially non-contracted players to play in overseas leagues. However, there were many players who missed getting any NOC during their playing days, and still, they managed to participate in different foreign leagues. Now, as per the rules of the Board, they got punishments, and here is a list:

This leggie was a revelation in the Indian T20 League when he came into the picture for the Rajasthan franchise. Pravin Tambe was part of that tournament between 2013 and 2015. However, he retired himself in 2018 to play in the Abudhabi T10 League. After that, he decided to withdraw his retirement. Then, he played in the Mumbai T20 League and also, included himself in the Indian T20 League.

The Kolkata franchise also bought him for Rs 20 Lakh. However, he got banned by the governing body of this tournament as the chairman, Brijesh Patel said: “He (Tambe) won’t be allowed to play the Indian Premier League. He (Tambe) won’t be allowed otherwise we have to allow everyone. The board only allows players to play in one day, three days, four days, and county cricket and each player has to seek the Indian Cricket Board and respective state association’s no-objection certificate.” Later, he played in the T20 League of West Indies for the Trinidad franchise.
