Subramaniam Badrinath is also known for his excellent career in the Ranji Trophy as he is the sixth-highest run-scorer in Ranji Trophy history with 7850 runs. He got his Test debut against the Proteas at home in 2010.
However, he scored a fifty in the first innings while he failed to score big in the second one. But, after that match, he got dropped and never made a comeback into the Indian setup. He got out of contention as he didn’t contribute much or get a huge score.
