Mohammed Kaif will always be remembered for his heroics at the Natwest Trophy final against England in 2022. But speaking about his Test career, he represented 13 Test matches in five years. In his initial Test matches, he did not contribute big runs in the longest format of the game.
However, he got more opportunities in Test in 2006 as star players like Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar got ruled out of injuries. He smashed 317 runs in five Test matches, including 148 in the West Indies. Despite such high performance, he did not get a comeback call into the Indian Test Team.
