5 Players Who Were Ignored By Selectors But Deserved A Place In The T20I Squad
India is blessed with many talented players over the years as many top players have represented this country. Players like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and Sunil Gavaskar always looked to deliver good performances for India. But, it has been observed that many players have been rejected over the years despite having good performances.
Players have been avoided despite delivering good performances across all three formats. Now, in the current scenario, the same thing has been going on as some players like Shardul Thakur, Umran Malik, and Rahul Tripathi got excluded from some upcoming series despite having performances at their back.

This batter again missed the squad for the upcoming T20I series against West Indies. Despite scoring his maiden T20I fifty in just 31 balls against Ireland, Sanju Samson only got picked up for the first T20I match against England. In that match, he scored 77 runs off 42 balls while opening the innings for India.
However, he did not get into playing XI for that game and now, he is going to miss the upcoming WI tour. Ahead of the mega event later this year in Australia, it will be a huge blow for Samson as he might not get the chance to represent India on the World stage. However, he can be a good addition to India for the Australian pitches.
