Virat Kohli scored his first T20I ton
This veteran batter has already scored centuries in the T20 format in the Indian T20 League. For his Bangalore franchise, he has scored five centuries. But, for India, he had a high score of 90* runs. But, against Afghanistan, he managed to score his maiden ton in T20Is. With this ton, he has now 71 centuries for India.
Along with it, he has now scored fifty-plus scores for the most number of times (33). He surpassed the current Indian skipper Rohit Sharma (32). This inning showed that Virat Kohli is gaining back his old form. In this inning, he smashed 12 fours and six huge over-boundaries. He scored those runs at a strike rate of 200.
