Virat Kohli hit 100+ sixes in T20Is
Against Afghanistan, Virat remained not out on 122 runs off 61 balls. During his innings, he hit 12 fours and six over-boundaries. However, with these sixes, he managed to hit more than 100 sixes in T20Is. He has now hit 104 sixes in 96 innings for India in this shortest format of the game.
However, he is nowhere close to the highest number of sixes. New Zealand’s Martin Guptill holds the record of hitting most sixes in this format. He has hit 172 sixes in 117 innings. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma is in the second spot with 171 sixes in 128 innings. Still, for a batter like Kohli, it was another milestone in his illustrative career.
