Ravi Bishnoi, the latest sensation of India, has become the new number-one ranked bowler in the format. The leg-spinner has been known for his fast-paced spin bowling, which is not that easy to score against. At the IPL level, Bishnoi has shown his calibre as a spinner. the first instance of his skill set was on display in the under-19 World Cup 2020, where he was nearly unplayable. He has made inroads into the Indian side since then.
In 2022, India did not have that good a campaign in the Asia Cup. In the tournament. Bishnoi was one of the best performers in India. Despite doing nothing wrong in the tournament, Bishnoi was dropped from the squad. he had to wait for his chances again in the tournament. With his bowling, Bishnoi helped India to win the series against Ireland and Australia recently. He was a part of the Indian team that won the gold medal in the Asian Games 2023.
