‘KP bhaiya in BJP’ – Fans react after former England cricketer Kevin Pieterson shares pic with PM Narendra Modi

Former England skipper Kevin Pieterson shared a picture on his social media on Friday, where he can be seen shaking hands with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. and also met Home Minister Amit Shah earlier.

Pieterson wrote a heartwarming caption for the Indian PM, and also talked to him about release of Cheetahs on his birthday. 12 Cheetahs were released from South Africa and bought to Madhya Pradesh in Indian Air Force’s C-17 Globemaster Cargo plane. The Cheetahs will be shifted to their new home at Kuno National park in Madhya Pradesh. With this, the total number of Cheetahs at Kuno rose to 20. Pieterson is also working on a project in South Africa to save the Rhinos.

@narendramodi.Thank you for your infectious smile and firm handshake. I really look forward to seeing you again, Sir!” Pieterson wrote while sharing the picture on Twitter.

Pieterson has also praised PM Modi earlier for his leadership and strategies during the challenging period of Covid-19.

KP was invited to an event in Delhi

The Former England cricketer was the guest at the Raisina Dialogue event in Delhi. He said that it was an honor to be invited and that he always gets excited while traveling to India.

“So extremely excited to be going to India next week to share the stage at the below geo-political conference. An honor to be invited! Traveling to India is always something that excites me,.” Pieterson tweeted after getting invited to the event.

On Thursday, Pieterson also shared a picture with Home Minister and thanked him for the hospitality. “Thank you for the most wonderful welcoming this morning, Mr @AmitShah. Fascinating conversation. Kind, caring and inspirational man! Thank you!” wrote Pieterson while sharing picture with Amit Shah.

KP is a frequent visitor to India. He often travels here for commentary stints during the Indian T20 League and also other major series or tournaments.
