The 23-year-old played an anchor role when Tilak Verma smashed 37 off 17 hitting two fours and four sixes. After Tilak’s dismissal in the 17th over, Green changed the gears and completed his half-century in 33 deliveries. He smashed T. Green also did fine in the bowling as he conceded 29 runs in his four overs and took the wicket of the SRH skipper Aiden Markram. Chasing the winning total, SRH didn’t had a great start as they lost 2 wickets at the score of 25 runs in 3.4 overs. After that, Mayank Agarwal and Markram tried to take the innings further before Markram lost his wicket in the ninth over. In the next over, SRH lost another wicket and the score was reduced at 72 for 4.

After that, Agarwal (48 off 41) and Heinrich Klaasen (36 off 16) put up a partnership of 55 runs for the fifth wicket to keep SRH in the game. After Klassen’s wicket, SRH lost momentum and were, eventually, bowled out with just one delivery left to finish the match. Green was awarded Player of the Match for his all-round performance.
