Did Suniel Shetty Confirm His Daughter’s Marriage with KL Rahul?

Speculation about the marriage of Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul was in the air in recent times. KL Rahul made a comeback to the Indian team during the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. During his rehabilitation, KL Rahul went to Germany and she was there with him also. However, Suniel Shetty now confirmed the news of their marriage.

KL Rahul is currently busy in UAE, getting prepared for the upcoming Asia Cup. Therefore, Suniel Shetty said that the marriage will take place. But, it will only happen when both of them manage to get some time out for themselves from their respective work fields.

Speaking to Instant Bollywood, Suniel Shetty said that both of them are having an action-packed schedule in front of them. Hence, they need to take time out to manage this marriage. He said: “I think Jaise hi bachhe decide karenge (it will happen as soon as the kids decide). Rahul ke schedules hai. Abhi Asia Cup hai, World Cup hai, South African tour hai, Australia tour hai. Jab bachho ko break milega tab shaadi hogi. Ek din me shaadi nahi ho sakti na? (Rahul has busy schedules, Asia Cup, World Cup, South African tour, and Australia tour. The wedding will happen only when the kids get a break. It can’t happen in a day, no)?”

Suniel Shetty also added that a wedding can not happen in a short time. “Now papa wants that she is a girl and should get married, but Rahul needs to get a break, the kids will decide when that can happen, because you will be scared if you see Rahul’s calendar, there’s only 1-2 day break, a wedding cannot happen in such short time. The wedding will be planned when there’s time,” the actor added.

However, in a recent interview, KL Rahul shared Suniel Shetty’s obsession with cricket. Rahul said: “He’s (Suniel Shetty) not just a fan. He understands the game really well. He is borderline obsessed,”
