‘Ek hi to Dil hai kitne baar jeetoge Dhawan bhai’ – Fans react as Shikhar Dhawan wishes India luck to win ODI World Cup 2023
Team India opener Shikhar Dhawan was seen offering prayers at the Jyotirlinga Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Saturday (September 9). Dhawan was also accompanied by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. The two celebrities sat in the Nandi Hall while offering the ‘Bhasma Aarti’ to Lord Shiv.
Recently, the Indian cricket board recently announced its 15-man squad for the ODI World Cup 2023, which will be hosted by India across 10 different venues. The biggest omissions from the Indian squad for the 2023 ODI World Cup are Shikhar Dhawan and Yuzvendra Chahal, who were crucial parts of the core Indian team. Many fans were disappointed with the selectors’ decision to drop the two veterans from the squad as they criticised the board on social media.
