‘Ek IPL title toh ye fans bhi deserve karte hai’ – Fans react as CSK fans were seen sleeping at Ahmedabad Railway Station ahead of postponed IPL 2023 final

People questioned why there were so vigorous attempts to play a shorter game when the reserve day could accommodate a full game. That was due to the fact that not all spectators for yesterday’s IPL final were Gujarat residents. Many Chennai Super Kings (CSK) supporters came to Ahmedabad from different regions of the nation to see the IPL championship.

Those travelling supporters still hadn’t made any plans after two days. All of the lodging and travel arrangements they made were done so that they could leave Ahmedabad on Monday after the match, which was scheduled for Sunday. Rain, however, prevented it from happening. The game had to be moved to the reserve day, and because the decision was made very late at night, the travelling supporters who had originally planned to leave the ground and head directly for the airport were unsure of what to do.

A 5-overs-per-side match must be completed before 12:26 AM IST on May 30. The match officials will wait for a 5-over match to begin. If even a 5-over match cannot be finished on Monday, the match will be decided through a super over.The team that placed first in the league table following the 70 regular-season games will be deemed the winner of the appropriate playoff game or final. This rule applies even if the Super Over cannot begin.
