The Mumbai franchise is the most successful team in the Indian T20 League. They have already lifted the trophy five times in 14 editions of the tournament. Mumbai will begin their campaign against Delhi on 27th March. They will be looking to win their 6th title this year. Here are five reasons why Mumbai can win the Indian T20 League 2022.
5. Solid Top Order: The Mumbai top order has batters like Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav. These three players will look to give Mumbai solid starts and lay the foundation for the power hitters to put up some formidable totals.
Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma will be a very dynamic opening pair for the team. Rohit likes to take a bit of time before he can go hard at the bowling. Ishan Kishan will be useful for the team at the opposite end with his ability to attack from the first ball.
He will give Rohit the time to settle down. If a wicket falls, Suryakumar Yadav will take guard. He is one player who can complement both Rohit and Ishan.
