Four Players Who Can Lead MI Emirates As They Announced Their Squad For UAE T20 League
A new T20 League is going to take off in UAE in 2023. The Indian T20 League franchises are backing this league financially. Hence, global cricket stars are expected to be available for the opening season of this new league. A few days earlier, the Mumbai franchise announced their team’s name ‘MI Emirates’.
Now, the franchise announced the entire squad of them for the first-ever season of this T20 League. They announced a 14-member squad consisting of global T20 stars. With such a squad, this franchise will look to replicate its Indian T20 League dominance in this new league also.

Speaking of the announced squad, Mumbai already roped big T20 names around the globe. Kieron Pollard will represent this franchise once again in UAE also. Along with him, this franchise considered two other Caribbeans Dwayne Bravo and Nicholas Pooran. Veteran South African spinner, Imran Tahir will also represent this team. Meanwhile, Trent Boult also will be in action for this franchise.
However, Boult will also play for this new team. Will Smeed can be a player to watch out for in Mumbai. This batter scored the first-ever hundred in ‘The Hundred’ tournament a few days back. Along with these names, they went with experienced Samit Patel. They also grabbed the tickets of Najibullah Zadran and Fazalhaq Farooqui. Hence, with such a strong and divertible squad, there are there possible players who can lead this franchise in this new league.
Kieron Pollard
This veteran all-rounder has been an integral part of this franchise for several years in the Indian T20 League. Hence, he might get the opportunity to lead them in the first season of this new league.
