Gujarat finds a new supporter in star Indian cricketer

The Indian T20 League 2022 is just two matches from getting its winner. The debutants in the tournament Gujarat have been exceptional through out the tournament and has become the first team to reach the finals. They are waiting for their opponents, which will be decided by the end of the ongoing Qualifier 2 between Rajasthan and Bangalore.
Ahead of the grand finale, star cricketer of the Indian Women’s team, Yastika Bhatia has posted a picture on her official Twitter handle supporting Hardik Pandya’s men. Notably, Yastika’s hometown is Baroda which lies in Gujarat. In the post she is seen donning the colors of the franchise. She captioned the post – “Wishing @gujarat_titans and @hardikpandya7 all the luck in the ITL finals 2022. #AvaDe.”

Notably, Yastika Bhatia is a wicket-keeper, batter who is new to the main scheme of Indian women’s cricket. She is particularly known for her quick glove work and aggressive batting. She is also a part of the Velocity team led by Dipti Sharma in the Women’s T20 Challenge 2022. In the two matches she has played so far in the tournament, Bhatia has registered a score of 17 off 13 balls and 19 off 15 balls. She is expected to be seen in action of the finals of the tournament against Supernovas on the 28th of May at MCA Stadium in Pune.
Meanwhile the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is planning a Women’s ITL starting from next year. Although the tournament is still at its conceptual stage, it is believed that BCCI is planning a six-team tournament. As per reports the Indian board is currently thinking about auctioning the media rights of the tournament. The format and the teams are due to be confirmed
