 Indian Cricket Board releases final phase of ODI World Cup 2023 semi final, final tickets

The Apex Cricket Council and the Indian Cricket Board are all set to release the final batch of match tickets for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023. The World Cup will be hosted by India and will be played across 10 venues, along with two venues for the practice matches. Considering the huge volume of match tickets and fans travelling to the country across the world, the Cricket Council and Indian Cricket Board decided to release the tickets in a seven-phase release to make the process more efficient. 

The match tickets for the ODI World Cup 2023 have been made available on the Cricket Council’s official website as well as India’s leading entertainment and ticket booking platform, Bookmyshow. After completing all six stages of the match, ticket releases, including the practice, matches and league stage matches, the Indian Cricket Board will finally release the seventh and last phase of match tickets on 15th September at 8 PM IST on the official website for the semi-final and final matches. The schedule of semi-final and final matches of the ODI World Cup, 2023 is as follows – 

15 November –  1st Semi-final, Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

16 November- 2nd Semi-final, Eden Gardens, Kolkata

19 November- Final, Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad

Apex Cricket Council releases statement ahead of match tickets 

“The Men’s Cricket World Cup is the culmination of national pride, memorable moments, cricketing heritage and an occasion to celebrate with others, perfectly packaged into a one-day global showcase with the 10 competing nations Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, England, India, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and Sri Lanka ready for action,” read the Apex Cricket Council statement. 

“The 2023 World Cup will showcase the very best of cricket in one day and combine the unique Indian passion for cricket with the national pride of all competing nations Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, England, India, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka to create an unrivalled global sporting occasion. This is your moment to be part of cricketing history,” added the Apex Cricket Council statement.
