Indian Cricket Board set to release final set of match tickets for Semi-finals and Final match of ODI World Cup 2023

The Indian Cricket Board has recently announced that they will release the final slot of match tickets for the two semi-final and final games on Thursday (9th November) on Thursday from 8 PM IST. This will be the last lot of match tickets available for the fans globally and they can buy the tickets from the tournament’s official website. 

The Indian Cricket Board previously released the match tickets in a sevenfold stage for the convenience of the fans, however, thousands of fans have complained about the poor management by the Indian Cricket Board of releasing the tickets, as the board’s plans did not go as planned. Previously, The tickets were released on these dates – 

25 August from 8 PM IST onwards (Non-India Practice matches) 

30 August from 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram

31 August from 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune

1 September from 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai

2 September from 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata

3 September from 8 PM IST onwards: India match at Ahmedabad

15 September from 8 PM IST onwards: Semi-Finals and Finals

The Indian Cricket Board’s official statement on the match tickets for the knockout matches

The Indian Cricket Board recently released a statement confirming that the board will be releasing the semifinals and final game match tickets once again for the last time. The statement read, “As the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 reaches its business end, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will release a final batch of tickets on Thursday. The tickets for the three marquee games – 1st semi-final (15th November), 2nd semi-final (16th November) and the all-important final on 19th November will go live at 8:00 PM on 9th November on the official ticketing website at https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com. This will be the last chance for cricket fans wanting to experience the magic and thrill of the World Cup and to witness in person the crowning of a new champion.”

“We are delighted to announce that tickets will go on general sale for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 today, bringing the pinnacle event of the one-day game directly to the world. We encourage everyone to secure their seats and be part of this historic event”, said Chief Executive Geoff Allardice.
