This Indian pacer has become a leader in the existing bowling lineup across all three formats. In the recent England tour, he was in fantastic form in all three formats. He also picked up six wickets in the first ODI against England. After that, he took a rest from the West Indies and Zimbabwe tour. But, on 8 August 2022, the Indian Cricket Board confirmed that Jasprit Bumrah will miss the Asia Cup due to some back issues. India is not willing to risk him by playing in the Asia Cup ahead of the T20 World Cup.
