The Sri Lanka skipper played for Gujarat Titans at the end of the IPL 2023. Even though he doesn’t have much IPL experience, he is a dangerous player in the T20I format. Also, Shanaka is a canny bowler and a destructive batter down the order. He can provide the finishing touches to the team.
