‘Karwali Beizzati’ – Fans go berserk after Gautam Gambhir hits back at Rajat Sharma after recent remarks on his on-field verbal fight with Virat Kohli
Former cricketer and current mentor of Lucknow Super Giants Gautam Gambhir hit back at the renowned Television news anchor Rajat Sharma. The latter blamed Gambhir for his verbal spat with Virat Kohli after LSG’s clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the ongoing IPL 2023. Notably, RCB batter Kohli and Gambhir got involved in a heated conversation after the Red Army defeated the Giants by 18 runs at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
It all started during the 17th over of LSG’s innings when Kohli had a verbal spat with the LSG player Naveen-ul-Haq. Kohli gave it back. After the incident, there has been a difference of opinions all over the social media.
Commenting on that, senior journalist Rajat Sharma bashed Gambhir for the fight and stated that he is ‘jealous.’
“Gambhir has been provoked. After fighting the elections and becoming a Member of the Parliament, Gambhir’s ego has increased even more. How Virat Kohli’s popularity worries Gambhir was witnessed yet again, clearly on the ground. Kohli is a player who is always aggressive, doesn’t tolerate any nonsense and so he gave Gambhir an apt reply,” Rajat said during his live on India TV.
“In all, what Gambhir did is against the sportsman spirit. This behaviour is not befitting of a former India player and a current Member of Parliament. Such incidents ruin the reputation of cricket and should not have happened,” he further added.
Power of #ViratKohli
Even BJP supporter TV channels are slamming Gautam Gambhir and supporting Virat Kohli.

‘Eager to sell paid PR as concern for cricket’ – Gautam Gambhir
Meanwhile, Gambhir also didn’t stay back and took to his social media to reply to Rajat Sharma’s comments about him.
“Man who ran away from Delhi Cricket citing “pressure” seems over eager to sell paid PR as concern for cricket! Yahi kalyug hai jahan ‘bhagode’ apni adalat chalate hain (This is the modern era, those who run away are the ones running their own courts of law,” Gambhir wrote on his Twitter.
Meanwhile, both Kohli and Gambhir have been punished by the Indian Cricket Board as they have been fined 100% of their fees for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct.

Support Kohli or Gambhir, whosoever you guys think is right. That's totally fine. But Rajat should not be supported. What he said was incredibly vile and defamatory. Throw good money he can say nasty things against Virat also. That's how media works.

Man who ran away from his Constituency to earn money in commercial league. This shows priority of non serious public representative, who keep abusing for all failure and victories. People should pull collars of such representative, who abstains from office and don't even ask…

You are an MP. Isn’t it shameful for you to pick fight with cricketers who represent our nation. Don’t even understand how you find time for cricket coaching, that too for IPL. Constituency and administration is just retirement perks, is it?
