Kuldeep Yadav praises Rohit Sharma for supporting him during his bad phase
Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav recently praised Indian captain Rohit Sharma for backing him during tough times in 2019. Kuldeep said that Rohit helped to boost his confidence when he was in National Cricket Academy (NCA) during his injury.
Recently Kuldeep Yadav and his spin twin Yuzvendra Chahal recently gave an interview on the Breakfast with Champions episode of OakTree Sports Youtube Channel where both cricketers shared some fun stories and their experiences with the Indian team.
“Rohit Bhai backs me a lot, during IPL 2019, when I had bad games, he used to call & back me during my injury as I was in NCA, he met me and used to give me lots of confidence,” Kuldeep said about Rohit.
During the interview, Chahal and Kuldeep shared one of the funny moments when making a TikTok video with Rohit. Kuldeep said he was left out of the video because he wasn’t one of the best dancers.
“We (Kuldeep, Chahal, Rohit) were planning for a dance video on TikTok and we rehearsed hard for it. It was our choreography and our hard work and they removed me from the final video. I was so serious about it because it seemed way out of my league,” said Kuldeep.
“If you would have looked at his performance, you would have understood why we removed him (laughs),” Chahal said after Kuldeep.
‘I believe that a good ball is a good ball to any batter’ – Chahal
Meanwhile, Chahal also spoke about his off days as a bowler. He said that he doesn’t think about the batter he bowls to. He also added that he has accepted that there would be a few days he would be hit for plenty of runs.
“I never think about the batter I am bowling to. I believe that a good ball is a good ball to any batter, and if you bowl a bad ball, even a No.11 will hit it for six. When I was smashed for 64 runs in four overs in South Africa, I told myself that what worse could happen from here? Things will only get better,” said Chahal.
