When Delhi Capitals were taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad in match number 40 of IPL 2023 at Arun Jaitely Stadium, some of the fans who were present at the stadium, got engaged in a heated brawl during the game.

A video went viral all over social media where a few fans were engaged in an ugly that disturbed the rest of the crowd present there. People started taking videos and pictures of the incident and shared them on social media.

SRH registered a convincing victory over DC

Talking about the match, SRH settled the scores with DC in the ongoing season and registered their first victory over them after 2020 as they defeated DC by 9 runs. Batting first, SRH posted a total of 197 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. In reply, DC could only score 188 runs losing 6 wickets.

Abhishek Sharma took charge for SRH with wickets falling regularly from the other end. He got out after scoring 67 runs off 36 balls hitting 12 fours and a maximum. After that, Heinrich Klaasen and Abdul Samad added 53 runs for the sixth wicket. Klaasen remained unbeaten on 53 runs off 27 balls with two fours and four sixes. For DC, Mitchell Marsh took 4 wickets by conceding 27 runs in his four overs, while Ishant Sharma and Axar Patel shared a wicket each.

Chasing the winning total, DC lost their skipper David Warner for a duck in the very first over. After that, Phil Salt and Mitchell Marsh took charge of the innings by putting up a partnership of 112 runs for the second wicket. Salt got out after scoring 59 runs off 39 balls with nine boundaries.

An over later, Marsh also lost his wicket after scoring 63 runs off 39 balls hitting one four and six sixes. After that, DC started losing wickets at regular intervals. Axar Patel tried to take his team down the line as he remained unbeaten on 29 runs off 14 balls but it wasn’t enough as DC fell short of SRH’s total by 9 runs. Mayank Markhande took 2 wickets for SRH by conceding 20 runs in his four overs. While, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T. Natarajan, Abhishek Sharma and Akeal Hosein shared a wicket each.
