India’s javelin star Neeraj Chopra yet again showed his flabbergasting performances in the Asian Games 2023 held in Hangzhou, China. Notably, the reigning Olympic champion as well as the world champion clinched a gold medal in the Asian Games 2023 on October 4 and brought glory to the nation. India added nine more medals to the event while touching the tally of 80. Following Neeraj Chopra, Kishore Kumar also bagged a silver medal to make India 1-2 at the Asian Games 2023 javelin throw final.
Meanwhile, Neeraj Chopra looks positive for the Asian Games 2023 after winning the gold medal in the Diamond League just a few days ago. The young player talks about giving 100 per cent in the game, irrespective of what the situation is. Moreover, the 25-year-old star also opens up about how to stay mentally and physically fit ahead of any major tournaments.
“I feel very good now because everyone is a little tired after the World Championships – we gave our 100% there, but for this competition here my focus was to just stay healthy, and we have to focus now for Eugene and then the Asian Games,” Neeraj Chopra said ahead of Asian Games 2023.

The Haryana-born star has talked about his tactics and approach for the Asian Games 2023. Moreover, the Olympic gold medalist has opened up about his efforts to keep his body fit for any competition. Neeraj Chopra admits that he didn’t push himself very hard because it disturbed his mind and body.
“For me, the focus was just to stay healthy and to give my 100% in my next competitions. Sometimes we need to read our bodies. Today, I feel OK, I am 100 per cent OK, but I didn’t push too much. Sometimes, our number one goal is to stay healthy. Today I gave it my best, but still with the focus to stay healthy,” he added further.
