A BCCI official confirmed that the board has not received Rohit’s fitness report from NCA after he sustained a hamstring injury before the start of the South Africa tour. The official also pointed out that Rohit had worked really hard on his fitness and might return to the squad.
The report further elaborated that Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja who missed the last series might remain out for the West Indies series as well, while Washington Sundar, who tested positive for Covid-19 before the start of the ODI series against South Africa, might make a comeback.
