‘ Saare spinner hi hai’ – Fans react as AB de Villiers picks three toughest bowlers he has ever faced

Arguably one of the best batters who redefined the way in which cricket was played. AB de Villiers is among the modern-era great who has blessed the cricketing field. Cricket legend from South Africa, AB de Villiers, has listed three of the hardest bowlers he has ever faced. The former captain of South Africa named Shane Warne, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rashid Khan as the three hardest bowlers he has ever encountered in an interview with Robin Uthappa for JioCinema.

De Villiers, who is no longer participating in any type of cricket, threw himself into his conflict with Shane Warne. The right-hander remembered how Warne exploited a weakness he was unaware he had.

“I think Shane Warne in 2006 the first time I travelled to Australia, not so much because of skill and technique and also just the presence of the man and the aura he carried. And obviously, I was quite inexperienced. I knew from the get-go he was going to get out,” de Villiers recalled in his chat with Uthappa on JioCinema.

Even though the circumstances were favourable for Warne, the batsman said that it was challenging to confront the bowler because of Warne’s intimidating demeanour. De Villiers recalls scoring sixty runs in that match, but Warne always had an out due to his talent for reading batters. Warne had dismissed de Villiers four times in his entire career from six innings.

The RCB Hall of Famer also pointed out Jasprit Bumrah as well as Rashid Khan as tough competitors. De Villiers said that the attacking mentality of both players was something that stood out. The former South Africa player also said that Bumrah was constantly very challenging as he was very competitive, and would never back down. De Villers also said that he had got a lot of respect for Bumrah and the way The Indian player plays his cricket and also that he loves that competitiveness

Bumrah looked furious after he got hit for six.
