Shadab Khan comes up with hilarious response to Babar Azam’s calling him ‘Buddha ho gaya hai’
In the last few years, Babar Azam and Shadab Khan have been part of the leadership group of the Pakistan team in white-ball cricket. Azam is the captain of the team across formats while Khan is the vice-captain of the white-ball teams. The team has done alright under them with the team qualifying for the semis of the 20-20 World Cup 2021 and the final of the 2022 edition.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) organized an event. The players had freewheeling conversations about their time on the international team. During the conversation, the anchor asked about a game in 2021 in which Khan missed a run-out attempt. After this, Azam made a comment that reads “Buddha ho gaya hai,” towards Shadab. The anchor asked Shadab for his comment on the incident.
The listeners started laughing. Meanwhile, in response, Khan said “Abhi maine matches khele hain, toh usko yaad aa gaya tha dobara. Abhi toh ham same hi ho gaye hain, dono ek jaise hi chal rahe hain (During the matches, he got reminded of that incident. Now we are alike, we are performing more or less the same!),” Shadab said.

In the first game played in the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the Three Lions won the game by 74 runs on a flat and undeteriorating wicket. The visitors are now leading the series by 1-0.
On the other hand, the home team has been criticized for playing defensive cricket. Also, the PCB is criticized for dishing out a flat wicket o offer. Meanwhile, it will interesting to see what kind of wicket dishes out in Multan for the next game.
