Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi got married earlier this year. During the short break between the Asia Cup 2023 and the ODI World Cup 2023, the left-arm pacer decided to make some time for himself for the reception. Following the event, Pakistan did not have off-season. Hence, Shaheen’s reception was arranged during the time and invited some of the famous cricket personalities for the event.
Shaheen married the daughter of Shahid Afridi named ‘Ansha Afridi’. Along with the former Pakistan cricketer, there were many famous cricketers in the event like Babar Azam. Shahid hosted the reception and invited many famous personalities for the event. But what caught the attention of the fans was a hilarious comment of the Pakistani cricketer on his own post.
After the reception, Shaheen decided to thank all the supporters and fans who wished him for their marriage and reception. On his social media handle, the 23-year-old shared the images of the event which featured himself along with Shahid, his father-in-law. In his Facebook account, Shaheen posted a comment congratulating himself, which went viral on the internet. It caught the attention of the fans, who started sharing it on different platforms.

In the comments section, the Pakistani cricketer mistakenly commented on the post which featured himself. The caption of the post was “Thank you everyone for the warm and lovely wishes. Here is to the beginning of love and laughter with the special one.” Shaheen commented on the same post with caption “Congratulations bhai” which became viral on the social media.
