2. Vijay Shankar (Hyderabad- 2016): Vijay Shankar was considered a bright prospect in the Indian cricketing scheme a few years back. His ability to bat anywhere in the batting order coupled with his medium-pace bowling made him a great asset. But a dip in form and injuries catching up meant that he got lost from the spotlight.
He was a part of the Gujarat team in the Indian T20 League 2022. He played in a few matches in their journey to the title. But this was not Shankar’s first ITL title. He won the title with Hyderabad in 2016. However, he did not make a single appearance for the Men in Orange in that season.
