6. Gujarat Titans – Spencer Johnson
Gujarat Titans spent INR 10 crores on the Australian pacer, Spencer Johnson. Johnson had played 16 matches in the Big Bash League where he managed to get 16 wickets at an economy of 7.79. As he is a left-arm pacer, GT has invested a lot of money in him.
5. Royal Challengers Bangalore – Alzarri Joseph
Alzarri Joseph, the West Indian pace bowler has been bought by RCB for INR 11.50 crores. Before the auction, RCB has traded Cameron Green from Mumbai Indians. The 27-year-old is yet to make a mark in the IPL and the RCB fans will hope that to happen this year.
