3. Shakib Al Hasan: The most celebrated cricketer of Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan can also be a very good option for the captaincy of the Test team. He has played 61 matches for Bangladesh in the longest format of the game. In the 112 innings that he has batted, he has scored 4113 runs at an average of 39.17. Shakib also has 224 wickets under his belt in these matches.
He has also led the team in the red-ball format previously. During his previous tenure, he managed to win only three matches out of 14 tests. But his win percentage of 21.42 is still the highest for any Bangladesh captain. It is also rumored that once his future with the Test side is decided he is on course to take up the reins of the team once again.
